I offer exciting contemporary garden design with a strong focus on developing site-appropriate solutions which make the best use of space and reflect the needs of the client.
I am fascinated by the history of human landscapes and my designs aim to use the essential grammar of past garden styles to create functional and beautiful modern spaces.
A graduate (with Distinction) of the Oxford College of Garden Design Post-Graduate Diploma course, I bring my wide interests in design, art and history to the discipline of garden design. An academic background in the life-sciences and extensive plant knowledge helps me to create wonderful plantings appropriate to your new garden.
The garden, in its many varied forms, has been a place of physical and spiritual refreshment, solace and recreation for thousands of years – I believe the need for these has never been greater than in the lives we lead today.
“Paul has skilfully blended new ideas and lovely planting arrangements into the heritage of the site. His commitment and energy throughout the process has been really high – we particularly liked the way that he brought his creativity and ideas to the project whilst really listening carefully to our thoughts, ideas and needs.”
